STUDY ON DEVELOPMENT OF ART & CULTURE IN RAJPUTANA PERIOD
The Rajputana period’s art and culture were greatly influenced by religion. The monarchs of various Rajput kingdoms supported a variety of religions, including Islam, Jainism, and Hinduism. This analysis will look into the ways that religious doctrines and ideologies impacted the folklore, rituals, and practises of this time period. The analysis of temple art, architecture, and religious writings will shed light on the Rajputana region’s religious plurality. Along with the visual and literary arts, the Rajputana period also saw a development of the performing and musical arts. The sponsorship of classical music, dance, and theatrical productions was concentrated in the royal courts. The analysis will look at the development of dance and music genres such Kathak, Ghoomar, and Bhavai as well as how they fit into both formal settings and everyday cultural practises. This paper deals about the development of art and culture in Rajputana period.
