In an era defined by rapid technological innovation, cultural preservation faces both unprecedented opportunities and complex challenges. This study explores the transformative role of digital engagement in safeguarding intangible cultural heritage, emphasizing the significance of community participation. Through a multidisciplinary approach integrating cultural studies, digital humanities, and participatory design, the research analyzes how digital tools such as social media, online archives, mobile apps, and virtual storytelling platforms are being leveraged to document, disseminate, and revitalize local traditions. Drawing on regional case studies, interviews, and content analysis, the paper highlights the dynamic interaction between technology and tradition, where communities become co-creators and custodians of their cultural identity. The study concludes that sustainable digital cultural preservation must prioritize inclusivity, local knowledge systems, and ethical engagement.
