DEVELOPMENT OF SESSION GUIDES ANCHORED ON THE RETROSPECTION
This mixed developmental research design combined an interview and FGD to develop session guides anchored on the retrospection of the Teacher Education extension activities of ISAT U Miagao Campus. The study underwent two phases: Phase one investigated the problems and challenges encountered in the implementation of the Teacher Education extension activities. Findings revealed that the problems or challenges in the implementation of the Teacher Education extension activities of ISAT U encountered by the student-partners revolved on inadequacy of extension support materials, need for utilization of varied instructional methods and techniques, time constraint, lack of rapport with the extension service providers, and the need for technology integration to encourage students’ interest and engagement. Furthermore, the school partners pointed out inadequacy of extension support materials and resources, time constraint, need for technology integration to encourage students’ engagement and interest, and low socio- economic characteristics of the student partners as the dominant problems and challenges that hinder the implementation of the Teacher Education extension activities. The extension service providers also encountered problems on inadequacy of extension support materials and resources, time constraint, meager extension financial resources, fostering faculty engagement and absence of monitoring and evaluation on the extension activities. Phase Two was the development of Session Guides which included the stages such as preparation, construction, validation, pilot testing, refinement, and the final development. Needs Assessment survey was utilized to determine content selection incorporated in the session guides. On the basis of these results, an extension toolkit containing power point presentations, downloaded videos, activities and the session guides entitled “Mentoring the Young Minds: English Literacy Enrichment Program“ was developed.

SELF-EFFICACY, ANXIETY, AND ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE IN MATHEMATICS
This descriptive- correlational study examined the relationship between the self-efficacy, anxiety, and academic performance of students in mathematics. The participants of the study were Grade 10 students enrolled in Sicaba National High School of Academic Year 2018-2019. The adopted questionnaire of Bearneza (2016) Self-efficacy and Anxiety in Learning Mathematics Questionnaire was used. The grades of the respondents were used by the researchers to measure the level of their academic performance in mathematics. Findings imply that experiences of failure contribute to higher sense of mathematics anxiety. The findings further signify that despite the high level of self-efficacy that the student’s confidence is in functioning intellectually by means of his/her adaptive behavior but due to his/her negative experiences in the past the level of anxiety is high. There was a significant relationship between self-efficacy and anxiety, anxiety and academic performance of the student’s self-efficacy predicts academic performance in mathematics. The findings of this study provided information in designing supplemental activities to improve academic performance in mathematics.

VIDEO GAME ENGAGEMENT AND ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE
Video games can be either online that can be played through the use of android or smartphones using an internet connection, or offline. With this, the researchers were encouraged to study how a video game is correlated to the engagement and academic performance of the students. The researchers determined the respondents of the study through a pre-survey where junior high school students were asked to answer the question of whether they are playing videogames or not. The research instrument that was used in this study was a researcher-made instrument duly validated by the panel of experts. For Descriptive data analysis, mean, percentage, and standard deviation were used while for Inferential data analysis, Pearson (r) was used. The findings of the study showed when taken as a whole, the length of engagement of the students in the school was between zero to one hour; when grouped according to grade level, the length of engagement of the students in Grade 7, Grade 8, Grade 9 and Grade10 was between zero to one hour; The academic performance of the students when grouped according to grade level were as follows: Grade 7, Grade 8 and Grade 10 students had a good academic performance with the mean of 82.03, 82.15 and 82.10 respectively while Grade 9 students had a poor academic performance with the mean of 78.91. There was no significant linear relationship between the length of engagement and academic performance. The p-value is .101 which is greater than the 0.05 level of significance which leads to accepting the null hypothesis. This infers that engagement in a videogame can not affect the academic performance of the students. The students must learn how to manage their time and separate personal things from school matters. They must learn how to be responsible enough in prioritizing important things related to their study and set aside those things that can distract them or cannot help them to improve their academic performance.

RETHINKING THE DIGITAL DIVIDE IN THE TIME OF CRISIS
The idea of inclusivity in education has become an abstract phenomenon in the time of the pandemic crisis. While studies show that most advanced countries are adaptive to the so-called new normal, the other side of the world is struggling to adapt to emergency remote education due to the notion of the digital divide. The disparity of society’s access to the digital world has been present even in the pre-pandemic era. However, it has predominantly visible in today’s dystopian society as it continuously navigates in the pandemic world. This paper attempts to discuss and to share a glimpse of the digital situation during the pandemic crisis. Interestingly, it presents that the digital divide widens learning spaces and significantly creates social injustices. Hence, it is highly recommended in the post-pandemic world for countries to invest in digital infrastructures, provide affordable and accessible supportive digital learning tools, resources and materials, and strengthen and expand digital literacy programs for all.

A STUDY ON TRANSFORMATION OF EDUCATION SYSTEM THROUGH
Ministry of Human Resource Development of Government of India has projected an elaborate and all– encompassing National Education Policy (NEP2020). Before Independence, the education in India was under the complete control of the “Masters, the British Empire”. The education policies, like the one drawn by Macaulay, as would be obvious, were not for providing any quality education to the Indians, but to churn out the “Babus”, clerks and bureaucrats, to serve the masters, pure and simple. After independence, the society went through series of changes, policies were charted and certain reforms were brought in, but the impact was still not achieved. In 2015, the GOI adapted “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (SD)”and since then the impetus has been initiated. The final culmination of a long drawn and all inclusive process is NEP2020. NEP 2020 has been a very elaborate planning document. The salient feature of the issues, principles, aims and, vision, challenges, and solutions have been dealt with this article. The main focus has been on the higher education and its implementation. Due importance also has been accorded to other issues such as vocational education, research and online and digital education to mention a few. Overall, it is commendable and a very positive step forward on the part of the government. Only the time will judge, how much net effective output is actually garnered.
