This study investigates the perceptions of using social media networks among special education teachers in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The sample population of this research consists of 160 special education teachers (100 males and 60 females) specialized and trained only for teaching students with intellectual disability and enrolled in the Education Department in Riyadh, kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The instrument used to gather data from the participants included a self-designed online questionnaire. Results showed that Saudi special education teachers always used social media network for personal purposes. Twitter was the highest application which used by those teachers. Generally, they revealed a positive perception towards the use of social media networks. The study recommends more studies in this area so as to closely understand how and why special education teachers utilize or not social media in their classes in order to develop best practices for implementing social media in teaching and learning special education classes in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

William Shakespeare happens to be the greatest writer of the world.  He is called the Bard of Avon.  He is a great playwright and poet.  His 37 plays include his tragedies, tragi-comedies, histories (covering Roman plays), sonnets, and comedies. The present play focuses on his fine drafting of upholding the language. The essential spirit of the play ‘Twelfth Night’ is captured in its title. The world of Twelfth Night is one of comedy and comic excess; and among all of the characters in the play, it is the drunken, misbehaving and prankish Sir Toby Belch who epitomizes its humorous nature.  In Twelfth Night, despite the festive spirit of the play, Shakespeare invites his audience to notice certain problematic aspects of the story. Reductively, the theme of Twelfth Night is the joy and pain of love. The play was written in Shakespeare’s older years and he attempts to see love for all that is both good and bad about it. This may explain why Twelfth Night has a subtitle, What You Will (the only play that has one, between). Twelfth Night explores a variety of themes and issues. The major theme of celebration and festivity was prevalent in all of the sources from which Shakespeare drew.

Public Private Partnership has been the buzzword in policy debates on development strategies. There are many questions that need to be critically examined in this context. What is public-private partnership? How does it work in the case of education sector? Is it new model? What are the strengths and weakness of the PPP as a development strategy? Many researchers have explored the applications of PPP to improve the efficiency of infrastructure delivery. This study aims to review the existing PPP research to explore the status quo, trends and gaps in research for PPP infrastructure projects. A systematic process involving a three phase word frequency analysis, cluster analysis and a search on potential research topics helps us to provide enough potential articles related to PPP research and reduce arbitrariness and subjectivity involved in the research topic analysis. While examining the implications for educational development, the author presents a critical review of some of the somewhat familiar and some not so familiar arguments. He examines some of the baffling questions, highlighting the possible ramifications of PPP for education Development in India, partly drawing from the limited experience of the emerging and prevailing diverse models of PPP in India and abroad.

Background: Promoting health is a key component of nursing practice- By helping nurses change individuals, society and healthcare system by promoting the health of individuals, families, communities and populations.

Purpose:  The aim of the study is to show the understanding of nursing student’s perception regarding health education and health promotion.

Study design: Cross sectional study.

Setting: Lahore School of Nursing, the University of Lahore.

Duration: 4 months from September 2019 to December 2019.

Methodology: this study was done on 135 nursing students selected through convenient sampling method from Lahore School of Nursing, the University of Lahore. Data was collected by modified questionnaire adopted from (Halcomb, 2010) to understand the perception of nursing students regarding health promotion and health education.

Results: This study finds out that 90% n=122 participants have positive perception regarding health promotion and health education. Although there were some signs that nursing students were introduced to the concept of health promotion as a socio-ecological strategy that integrates changes in the economy, policy, organization and climate. This socio-ecological approach was not viewed by the majority of student nurses as having a role modeling faculty or nurses.

Conclusion: students nurses to be recognized as future high quality health promoters, collaborates with wellbeing advancement leaders, and effectively teach nursing education. There is a need to made changes in the nursing curriculum to reflect appropriate and accurate health promotion concepts and performed health promoting behaviours which have strong impact on individual health.

Introduction: Physical assessment skills is the essential part of the nursing profession including inspection, auscultation, percussion, and palpation. Understanding hurdles to physical assessment among nursing students create a more detailed assessment in the development of quality patient’s care in nursing practice. This study examined the physical assessment skills performing hurdles among nursing students.

Purpose: The purpose of the study is to assess the physical assessment skills performing hurdles among nursing students at Lahore School of Nursing, The University of Lahore.

Methods: A quantitative descriptive cross sectional study design will be used to collect data from 103 nursing students. A convenient sampling method will be used for this study. The questionnaire is composed of 7 subscales in evaluating the physical assessment skills performing hurdles among nursing students between the classroom and clinical setting. Paired t-test was also used in determining the differences between physical assessment skills performing hurdles among nursing students in the classroom and clinical setting.

Results: The statistical differences between physical assessment skills performing hurdles among nursing students between classroom settings and clinical setting. Subscale “reliance on others and technology” (p = .867), “Lack of time and interruptions” (p = .733), “ward culture” (p =.032),  “Lack of confidence” (p = .300),  “Lack of nursing role models” (p =.063), “lack of influence on patient care” (p = .088), “Specialty area” (p =.015),  have significant differences in physical assessment skills performing hurdles among nursing students in classroom settings and clinical settings.

Conclusion: Although nursing students were oriented and educated about physical assessment skills as an integral part of the nursing curriculum, not often practiced in clinical settings. Reliance on others and technology, ward culture, lack of influence on patient care are hurdles in performing a physical assessment skills. In addition, increasing self-confidence is vital to assess the patient’s health status effectively and minimize the hurdles to performing the physical assessment skills.

This study determined the Teaching Competence and the Mother Tongue Proficiency of the Pre – Service Teachers of the Bachelor of Elementary Education students major in General Education, Home Economics and Livelihood Education and Early Childhood Education respectively in Carlos Hilado Memorial State College for Academic Year 2016 -2017 when taken as a whole and grouped according to major and sex and the significant difference and relationship between teaching competence and mother tongue proficiency. The descriptive method of research was used in this study. Stratified random sampling was employed in the selection of participants. There were ninety seven (97) participants in this study. Mean, Standard Deviation, ANOVA and Pearson r were used to analyze the data. The data for the teaching competence were taken from the Teaching Evaluation and Rating Sheet and Mother Tongue Proficiency was based on the grades by the respondents in their EDMOTO (Mother Tongue) subject. The study revealed that: (1)teaching competence of the pre-service teachers when taken as a whole and grouped according to major and sex was “very high”, (2) the mother proficiency of the pre-service teachers was when taken as a whole and grouped according to major and sex was “good”, (3) significant difference and significant relationship exists between teaching competence and mother proficiency.
